    Beach Portraits

    A beach family portrait is one of the most treasured items you will ever own.

    We all understand the importance and value of a beautifully handcrafted family portrait. We want to create real expressions and capture the real personalities of our subjects. Fine portrait photographers use the light and the environment to create aesthetically pleasing images. The intent of the portrait artist is to create a realistic setting that flatters his subjects. Captured Moments specializes in children's portraiture, large groups, families, couples and individual portraits on the beach.
    Our sessions are innovative and artistically unique.

     

    Hauntingly beautiful is the best way to describe South Carolina’s Lowcountry and Resort Islands. By day the marshes are alive with the calls and rustling flight of birds, and fish leap in the dark, clear streams that feed the wetlands. By night, the moon bathes beautiful white sand beaches, a church ruins, moss-bearded palms and live oak groves in silvery light. It is this romantic and haunting ambiance that draws visitors back time and again to the beauty and relaxation of the Lowcountry.

      Sessions are only held at sunrise or sunset. Reserve your event today, bookings are limited.

    What to Wear

    Clothing: wear solid neutral colors, stick to lighter tones and pastels.

    Try to avoid prints, patterns, and stripes.

    A couple or group should be the same or complimentary in style and color clothing.

    Jewelry should be kept to a minimum.

    No shoes required, you will be barefoot on the beach.

    Bring sandals for walking to the beach.

    Dress appropriately for the season:

    Long sleeves & pants in the Spring, Fall, and Winter.

    Short sleeves & shorts for the Summer

    Makeup 

    Ladies: Wear your make-up as usual. Use a neutral toenail polish if any.

    You will get sandy during the shoot, do not wear any moisturizers or creams that are too oily or greasy.

    Men: Keep in mind that an evening portrait will benefit greatly from a fresh shave!
